Clone your characters with server transfer!

As much as we would all love for this to work. It does not.

This is not a new concept to anyone thats been around here for awhile. We have attempted to exploit this many times and have yet to be able to find any reason to believe that it would produce any sort of results.

The moment you click PAY and the PAY gets accepted your character gets locked and sent in que for deletion.

This is why sometimes your character is unavailable for play, or sometimes if the que system gets backed up you don't have a character anymore. You have to remember that every character has a unique characterID which is associated to your unique accountID. Cloning cannot happen as my character with the value" [1] (example) cannot exist anywhere on the network where another character with the id of [1] is. (US/EU). This is fundamentally why we cannot transfer from US to EU or other countries.

When you start your xfer from lets say Shadowmoon to Illidan, Shadowmoon creates a special report and sends it to the Illidan server. Server checks happen such as, is he horde, is he alliance, whats his rep, whats his faction standing, what mounts need to change, did he get a server first, is it a guild, is his name taken, can we move his macros, can we move his equipment codes, have these items been discovered yet so we dont crash server on detail inquiry, quest lists... etc. When its done, the losing server sends over the information to the new server, after a comparison check between the two characters, voila. The old one goes into a deletion que. Sometimes its still visible, but you will not be able to log into it.

This. It can't be done, and even if you are the 1 in 1000000 they are going to clean it up once the IDs start ****ing with eachother.

I were able to log in on both characters, The old copy were removed after about 20 hours but during those 20 hours I had access too gold\items x2

The whole point of the thread was that I could access the character on BOTH servers AT THE SAME time.

When you showed proof to felheart was it merely a screen shot, or did you actually give him your real ID and log into both on different servers, because if you didnt do the latter of the two, you need to stop claiming it happened and just give up dude.

I showed him the same character on on two different servers, that way he was able to see that I had the same gear, same name, same date on the lvl achievements.

Answer the question, did you show him a screenshot or let him see your transfer transaction as well as both servers.

Someone take action please, wasted $55 for a trial on Faction and Xfer, neither worked.

Judging by this new information I would advice people to rework their strategies if they succeed. If you do this, I would say transfer gold and valuables to an alt before the copied character gets deleted.

But I still don't think this can be done, the above is just "what if" situation.
