Be aware that it only gives you the next stage of the achievement.
For example if you have 1/10 it only gives you the 10 rares achievement but not the 20.
You cannot divide it by two chars so that for example character A does the 10/10 rare achievement and character B does the 20/20 achievement - this does not work and char B will only get the 10/10 achievement.

False. I got both the 10 and 20 rare artifacts achievements. The 20 rares came about a second and a half after the 10 rares achieve.

It didn't worked for me, I completed the quest and had that black screen for three seconds, then nothing.
EU 90 (arch 65) none of my other characters have the archeology profession.

EDIT: tried on my mage 87 which is lvl 1 arch and still nothing

also did no work. US lvl 85, sat black screen and nothing. 525 arch and many sub achievements already unlocked
