Battle pets - How to find out the rarity of what you are battling

Simply paste this into your chat box when you engage the battle. This will bring up the rarity in your chat box ie uncommon - rare.

I use Zygor addon and it gives me all info about the pets, including rarity.

Haven't found one on curse I like for finding out what the rarity of a pet you're battling. Once you catch them though pet journal enhanced PetJournal Enhanced - Companions - World of Warcraft Addons - Curse has been a great one for keeping track of the rarity of pets you have.

Having tried a few different Pet Battle addons. I can recommend Battle Pet - Quality Notifier

The addon is very small, and it will tell you (when you engage a wild battle pet) what quality the pet have and whether or not you have this pet already. It will also tell you if it's an upgrade, say you got a poor Rabbit and find an Uncommon one, the addon will let you know that it's an upgrade

The simplest way of seeing what quality the pet you're battling is is the "Pet Battle Quality Glow" that dopplegager linked.

I don't see why you would want to have the chat spammed with every pet when you could just look at the name of the pet and see what color it is..

Because with over 200 different pets, it's hard to keep track of which ones you have and what quality they are.

or just look at the HP the higher the HP the rarer it is
