Battle pets - How to find out the rarity of what you are battling

sorry for my dumpness, I fail to understand how these addons are handy since u can watch the rarity of pet easily without any Addon when you engage in pet battle.

however, if there is an addon that tells you the rarity of the pet before engaring it into battle will be aweome.

I believe reading, like loot drops, it's not determined until engaged.

The addon will tell you the rarity without having to memorize what HP is what.
It will also tell you if you have that pet already. Saves time looking at the HP and checking your pokedex yourself when you have 200+ pets
