just tested in a lfg. I was getting 3.7k per kill and the mobs were kinda wavy, ie not entirely constant.

Hmm it might have to do with how many you were in the grp, at 89-90 i got around 4.3k with a 4man grp and 5.6k with a 3man grp and tbh it didnt really go slower as 3 ppl so i would reccommend going as 3 with a strong setup
