Easy way to fly w/ no Mount anywhere in the world that allows flying mounts

I have looked at that thread and its not the same post.

This post is for dks to fly anywhere in the world between cross realms using lichborne. The other post is about ogrimmar flying using an elixir and sandstone drake.

actually my post was about flying anywhere in the world if you read the post, all im showing org on mine for is where i achieved it, and that you are able to take portals and zeppelins to keep the effect across the bigger zone ins, and everything you added in yours was already posted on mine

Is it me or this has been fixed? about 30 mins trying on my dk right now, still cannot get it right. I might just be doing something wrong, too. I stand on dranosh ar blockade, around where the flame is, but zone is orgrimmar, 1 step from the crz. I use lichborne, then mount up fly to durotar, and dismount. nothing happens. Am i missing something?

You have to wait for the frezzing moment (when your client loads the crossrealm ) in this moment you can still dismount and fly forwards then you should achieve it

Problem is my client doesn't freeze on cross-realm. Is that not only for slower internet connections/machines? Also, in the description all it says is lichborne mount up, move to crz, dismount. So are u saying i actually have to dismount the moment i enter the crz?

What time window am i looking at? 1 second?

Idk you have to test it for yourself because i have this freezing moment , but i think you have a time window of 0,5 seconds right after you left og

It's worth noting that not everybody will get a lagspike zoning from Org/SW to Durotar/Elwynn. Try it with some other zone boundaries. I never get the lagspike zoning out of Stormwind on my realm. Just find a boundary that does it for you, and keep flying across until you get it to work.

You also don't need to use any kind of consumable or spell. All that matters is that you dismount during the freeze. If you dismount exactly when the lag happens, you seem to get desynced. It definitely takes some practice, but its super easy once you know what you're looking for.

Thanks for your reply, this cleared some things up for me actually. However any idea based on what do you get that lag spike? The size of the zone, or certain zones? Would be nice not having to try to zone into each single zone

look at when you change chat channels to the new zone

this is when you instantly begin to zone out and is when u should immediately dismount.



when u run into the new zone the cross realm phasing will delay itself but if u run too far or stop on the spot or even slow down this pushes the phase and the chat channel will ALWAYS be the main indicator that you are phasing.

Also because I get lag I know that crystalsong forest and dalaran use the same cross realm instance but all the other zones in northrend makes u zone out when u cross borders

Sadly, the channel switches dont appear for me since while and cant figure out why. But thanks for the input.

Oh, further information, it would be advisable to do this with a small mount. You keep the collision size of whatever mount you were using to get the bug working, so if you're on a Proto-Drake, for example, you'll find you have quite a bit of trouble entering or leaving most buildings.
