When you're offline you are not affected by things such as fatigue, fall damage, instance portals... anything that is server side. So, like xPlacebox says, this makes it wonderful for exploration.

Those are the benefits. I generally mess around with my router for offline mode but this method is handy as well.

So what is the difference between the RAoV Offline mode w/ "Macro 1" *that just got hotfixed* and just going into an Instance and forcing yourself into Offline mode? The RAoV way was a little bit different some how ... I can still get myself into offline mode and run around and explore but its not the same.

ok this bug seems to be working fine but when i tried to get to GM Island (West of Teldrassil)

I cant seem to somehow bypass this, its just an invisible wall with no water further on the way.
I am sure it wasnt like that, there was no wall before.
Is this way has been patched or?

What is the benefit of this feature besides not wanting to talk to anyone? Cause they are adding that feature to the game in MoP
