You wait for the loading screen to finish, and then you force a dc within 5 seconds, correct?

You may need to use a higher /bgt number.

If you already in bg with xp off, then the /bgt number is fine.
Try to dc earlier should solve the problem, remember dc macro won't work

I was just kicked out a bg by a gm two times and disconnected from server for using this and i never have connection problems - 25mb/s internet. i didn't get any warnings from the gm so im guessing the regular gms don't know about this and merely kicked me out because of having the deserter in the bg.

The deserter debuff is too obvious and a lot of angry alliance/horde probably reported me several times for being farmed too badly. Anyway, Blizzard dosen't care about pvp and are apparently letting all those bots go rampant and seems like all those mmr RBG/Arena exploits get to keep their achiev/gear gains too with only a 3 day ban so i don't see the punishments being that bad, It maybe a few days of ban time at the most and playing games in xp on as a twink is prob nowhere close to the windtrading, mmr exploits, botting that Blizzard DOES let people get anyway with and probably doesn't care.

Well, the thing I know is that Blizz will care ONLY if you were mass reported (I suspect these bans to be automated and based on the number of reports received, GM will just check & reject if you appeal). My friend was banned for 24 hrs for this.
But I've got more than 400k hks and [Battlemaster] since May 2011 and never had any problems. I was reported countless times by outraged levellers but was lucky enough to be never massreported

Were you kicked in the middle of bg or just after relog? I've experienced the same issue once and I'm totally sure that it was not a GM in my case. In Soviet Russia gm will never monitor low level bgs (i'm pretty sure any other gm won't do this aswell )

This was on US servers and during a AV where i was kicked midgame and disconnected to the logout screen. I also had a lot of hks so i can see why they were peed and reported me. The deserter debuff is pretty obvious too.

Are you sure blizz only cares if you were mass reported ( say like 40 people in a AV report you in a game ) during a small period of time or is it based a set number of reports over the lifetime of a character
( say 500 people report you during the lifetime of the character )?

How often have people been using this and having no problems? (after getting deserter in game?)

I don't know what's going on in US but me and my guild are mass invading EU bgs since May 2012 and it was easy to spot us even before mop because of our cyrillic names that are displayed as ??? with no fonts installed. Most of us are joining bgs with deserter since September, we play about 10 bgs a day but weren't even warned yet.

I know many people in 10-14 bracket who were terrorizing levelling bgs for more than a year and were never warned as well. I'm sure they were reported hundreds of times according to butthurt topics on forums.

I guess it's a sort of automated ban following a mass report in a short period. My friend was premading AV and his entire raid pressed "report for cheating" on a random scrub who capped gy. That guy was disconnected within 5 minutes and I suppose he got 3 hour ban.

This got patched with 5.1 as far as I can tell. I tried it multiple times and it didn't work anymore

It seems that I might be close to solution. At least I've managed to have loading screen belong to bg not the city after relog.

Same here. Only progress i've made being getting the game to load the BG screen and recognize i'm in a BG on the character list. Running out of ideas quick haha. the gold is slipping away fast too.

Hope u'll find a solution, good luck) As far as I understand Blizz didn't tried to fix this particular twink exploit which is explicitly visible when you get ported to city with bg icon on minimap you can't remove (so glitchy!)
But I'm afraid that this fix was aimed on RAoV family of lag exploits using the "audio lag macro" to avoid port from bg or dungeon (my lag method is exactly samilar to their but uses another macro) These exploits allowed to gain advantage at level cap and that why blizz fixed it.

Moral of the story: low level exploits will last for years only if there's no use for them at lvl cap.
