So... because some member, who has been here since 2008 and has a wooping 8 posts, says something we should simply do as he say?
Have you even reported the thread and asked for it to be moved to elite? Plus tonnes of leechers, like you, who are in no way doing anything to to contribute here had already seen it and the thread had been up for 2 days when you wanted it moved.

If this really has been hot-fixed (I think it has because I always get kicked after re-logging), I am surprised that the devs have acted this fast! They knew about xp-off twinks entering xp-on BGs for at least a year before applying a fix in the August 2012 update.

Is everyone else getting kicked every time when re-logging ? Any suggestions?

This no longer works for me in the u.s. after a few tries. Each time after re logging in, i would get d/ced from the bg.

Oh well. At least i can look forward to mop in a few weeks or else i will probably take a break from the game.

Twice I reported the thread as a repost from elite and linked the thread there. I even asked in the second report if the mod who viewed it could PM me why they weren't going to move it.

Think I found a solution!
Was able to get into a xp on battle without gaining experience by doing the same method as OP except disconnecting and reconnecting twice instead of just once. Did this 2 battles in a row with perfect success.

I've already found a workaround that only requires one disconnect. It will probably be rolled into an addon with some instructions and posted in the elite section soon, depending on how soon I want to see this fixed.

I had done your metod few times, and it worked, but...
the f...cking problem is back, with the update (patch 5.0.5)!!
