testing this on alliance, i noticed sometimes the macro messes and doesnt continue the chat conversation (even with TurnIn mod).
Does this happen to anyone else?

HOW TO AFK THIS QUEST USING PROSPECTOR

This is my method for completely automated botting of this quest using PROSPECTOR, the addon AutoQuest 2, and only ONE macro. Using 2-3 accounts, I farmed a guild to 25 in about 2 1/2 hours. On a separate single account, I've farmed lvl 1-20 in about 3 1/2 hours. Not bad for being completely AFK.


STEP 1
Download and install Auto Quest 2 - LINK - This addon automatically accepts and turns in quests when you interact with a questgiver
Download Prospector - LINK


STEP 2
You will need two keybinds that will be spammed by Prospector. First, go to your keybinds in game and set "Interact with Target" to Keybind A.


STEP 3

/run for bag = 0,4,1 do for slot = 1, 32, 1 do local name = GetContainerItemLink(bag,slot); if name and string.find(name,"Gnomeregan Gumdrop") then PickupContainerItem(bag,slot); DeleteCursorItem(); end; end; end
/train

Use this macro, and make sure the /train (or whichever emote) is on a separate line from the /run. Change Gnomeregan Gumdrop and /train to work for whatever quest you need. This macro will automatically delete the item in your inventory, and then use the emote to complete the quest. Drag this macro onto your bars and set it to Keybind B.


STEP 4
Open 2 instances of Prospector. Set the first instance to Keybind A, and the second instance to Keybind B. Be sure you're targeting the questgiver and start both Prospectors. I have them set at around 250ms.

If working properly, the quest should automatically be accepted, completed, and turned in repeatedly. You should be able to afk completely.

250ms does not work. It goes about 4-7 times before getting stuck.

So far only 2000/2000 works for me, but slow. Better than nothing yes, but slow.

No sure gooey, I started farming a guild on just 1 character about 30 minutes ago using that exact method and its currently at level 7.

My afk setup also runs entirely in the background and allows for multiple bots, or you can play another account with the botting in the background :]
