I Suggest everyone to take steps to reduce the chance of getting banned (delete your lvl1's, create a char with same name on another account on same server, sell or leave guild, and leave the spot)

Also, the NPC was deleted on my server.

Yup smart idea. I already deleted my level 1. NPC is still up running on Outland EU tho. A lot of people doing are still doing it.

You should remove the guild link, naming and shaming is not permitted on the forums. Blizzard are aware of this particular trick and I would expect a hotfix very soon. What will happen to those that have abused the exploit I do not know, but they should expect the worst, that way when the levels are removed and players penalized, it won't come as a shock

Blizzard has logs. Deleting your character won't do a thing to protect you.

Take advantage of this and hope they ignore it or don't do it in the first place.
