5 daily quest resets per day.

THIS WORKS ON US SERVERS ONLY!!

ok so after playing around with the cross realm feature abit i found that you can get 5 daily quest resets per day simply by being on other timezone servers when thier dailys reset.

i did this last night by accident because i was trying to get multiple dailys for pebble for the achive.


once an hour for 5 hours (maybe more if you include south america and oceania) 5 diffrent timezones quests reset starting with brazil servers

if you do a daily quest eg. pebble you cant do that quest again on any server unless you get a reset (i did pebble twice on my home realm after getting a reset on another server).

i tested this method with therazane only but i assume it will work on stuff like jc daily and tol barad since you get the system message saying your quests have been reset.

EDIT: this method also works for profession cooldowns

How do you go about doing this ? Accept quest in 1 time zone and complete it then wait tell the zone resets ? and move to next zone ?

Even better would be a list of servers and there timezone that you used to help make it easier on the rest of us.

US Realms by Timezone

you do the daily in the first zone then switch to the 2nd zone then get the reset switch back to your original zone and do the dailys again and repeat in as many zones as you can.

you can also keep switching servers if you want specific daily quest like lost in the depths.

note that the brazzilian servers arnt listed but are 1 hr before EST

and yes it works with profession cooldowns.

Anyone figured a way to get this to work for dailies in the major cities? they don't seem to phase the same as zones. trying to repeat the JC daily

you have to be in another realms zone to get the reset (at that servers reset time)

major cities are not x-realm.

for those people who keep inboxing me here are clearer instructions on how to do it.

1. do dailys/profession cooldowns on your own realm
2. use US Realms by Timezone to find realm that has a later daily reset.
3. get a friend to logon to that server and create a DK
4. get the friend to invite you to a cross realm group
5. go sit somewhere that is NOT a major city.
6. dailys reset
7. you exit the group and go do your dailys/profession cooldowns again.

for maximum daily/profession resets check what servers reset first and do dailys on them first then change to the next resetting server by following steps 2-7 (there should be atleast 5 diffrent timrezones you can do per day)

this seems to have been fixed by the maintenance today, i cant pull my 85 to other zones with lvl 1s or newly made death knights, it always pulls them to the lvl 85's server

Confirmed. Passing lead to the lowbie used to move you to their realm group, but doesn't anymore. They stay on yours.

Can someone test if passing group lead works between two 85s? How about if you break group and reform with the other person doing the initial invite?
