100% health restoration via remote complete quest exploit

Remote quests are quests which can be completed anywhere, and do not require you
to return to the questgiver.

There's a way to use this to your advantage in PVP or dungeons. Get your experience
bar up to 99% or so. Have a remote quest you've finished out, then, when you are running
low on health, click on "complete quest". When you go up a level your health is completely
restored and so is your mana.

You can just use this like a super-powered potion or healthstone, but it also allows you
in PVP to play right from the start above the actual bracket (eg lvl15 in a 10-14 BG),
which is normally impossible.

to use this exploit with:

I've tried combining a number of remote quests together to see if I could up to lvl16
in a 14 background, but even with full heirlooms and a generous dose of xp from
the BG itself it doesn't seem really practical to do this. There might be some way
to spin the XP gain from refer-a-friend, but I tend to doubt it.

It would be better to have a macro to click on complete quest as it is rather distracting
having the window out while you are fighting, but unfortunately I have no idea how to do that.

Sure it is. An exploit is anything that gives you an advantage over other players, and that is what this does.

Well, it depends on your perspective. Low lvl BG twinks are grinding through levels quickly and continuously as they recycle looms for each new character at 10-14 or whatever. They might only play a few bg's with a specific toon, so a play like this is a fairly big deal.

It is not much use for higher lvl players I agree. You might argue twinking is pointless, and I'd probably agree with that also, especially after having done a lot of it.

As to whether this is an exploit, assuming the defintion is "playing the game in a way it isn't supposed to be played", I doubt Blizzard intended remote quests to be used this way, so I can't see why it wouldn't qualify.

The concept of leveling up a toon to be in a lower bracket at a higher lvl is as old as dirt. Using a remote quest to do it mid-bg for the hp/mana regen is a new twist on it though. How this is a "fairly big deal" for a twink is beyond me however.
