exploiting your way to 2200+ in arena, play with yourself

this can be done for 2vs2, 3vs3 or 5vs5, but it requires 2 teams for any of the said arenas.

what you do: create 1 team that you want to get to 2200+, and create 1 team (buffer team) that you can get to around 1700 with no cheating.

during the day, level the 2nd team to around 1700, its really not hard. at around 4-5-6 am in the morning sign up with the 1700 team and check that there is no one playing (90% chance there wont be for 3vs3 and 5vs5, best done on weekdays). NOW sign up at the same time with both teams, you will play against each other. win with the team you want to get to 2200+ until you are getting no rating from the 1700 team.

next day, get the second team as high as you can again, during the night repeat.

out of the top 10 teams in my battlegroup, 3 do this tactic =] my 5vs5 team is 2200 rating, and i get 1220 arena points every week, and netherdrake at the end of the season.

you cannot get banned or punished in any way for this on US servers, so probably not on EU.

team alts, 2 accounts, friends, guildies.

or you can make 2 teams for 5vs5 and 2 teams for 3vs3. this way the "loser" team from 5vs5 can be the 2200+ team and winner team from 5vs5 can be "loser" for 3vs3, so everyone has a 2200+ team.

arena/pvp is the only thing i play the game for and people like you doing this are just ruining it, but meh - what can i do.

Just be glad, if they ever play you, you know they suck cause they had to boost their rating a cheap way. Then you can brag that you beat the #1 ranked team.

we use to do this back in the halo 2 days, but we used a "Network Bridge" and ran a few apps and blocked out some ips and dedicate one.

probly not possible if WoW doesnt use a connection host.

I've seen ppl doing this. I got 1900 rating 2v2 and I play vs full merciless geared ppl and we easily win from em. Then u rlly wonder how they got such good geared but no skills
