Boost tabard count for 30 tabard achievement before using faction change

Ordinarily I am not one to go achievement hunting but today for lack of better things to do I decided to equip a few tabards and get a couple points for the 30 tabard equipped achievement. I ran across this macro that lists all of your equipped tabards and found out that it had counted my tabards that I equipped while I was horde (recently faction changed to alliance through SoR) The macro is:

/run y=GetAchievementCriteriaInfo for z=1,85 do a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j = y(1021,z); k,l,m,n,o,p,q,r,s,t = y(j) if m==false then print("\124cffff0000\You have NOT YET equipped:\124r",k) else print("\124cff00ff00\You have equipped:\124r",k) end; end

It showed that I had a few horde only tabards prior equpped even though I am currently Alliance. I counted them and matched this number against the number counted in my achievement page. Note that this macro does not include the Renowned and Illustrious Guild Tabards for some reason.

So this would be very useful for anyone considering a faction change and needs some help getting the achievement for equipping 30 tabards. I only had about 4-5 horde tabards equipped prior to faction changing but I hope this will help anyone who is planning to change factions maximize their tabards equipped.

or you could just install a tabard addon like Tabard Addict that does it all on a screen you could read

Alliance are supposed to be able to equip all of horde's tabards? Please tell me your method so I can equip the rest of them that I missed before faction changing.

The macro doesn't allow you to equip the other factions tabard, thus not an exploit. You don't have to be rude to anyone, either.

This is mostly a grey area. It's not really enough to be considered an exploit, but it's not really a guide either.

I understand that not many people faction change on a daily bases so this might only be useful if you plan to faction change. I just thought it was interesting that it retains the count for past tabards equipped while achievements like exalted reputations reset if you switch faction. Obviously this is not working as intended.

Thank you. I wish I knew about this sooner or I would have equipped all the horde tabards before transferring. Atleast this confirms that it is an exploit and not just a guide.
