Buy one Truesilver Shafted Arrow, get 10 achievements

    Hello together,

this is a small exploit, because it only gives an achievement you don't really need. But many people collect them, maybe this is helpful for someone.
Since 4.3 you can sell most pets from world events. This includes the Peddlefeet-Pet from "Love is in the air".
What is the exploit now? You get the achievement after looting the arrow, not for learning it, like most other things. Now you can buy one arrow (For the event-points oder auction house.) and send it to all your charakters.
They will all get the achievement, even if they don't learn it.

It's like I said a small exploit, but some people may find it useful I hope.

Have fun with this and feel the love of Peddlefeet and your new achievement "Perma-Pido".

Does the German language really translate Peddlefeet to Pido? It seems completely unnecessary for a name to become different in another language to me unless it contained characters/letters that don't exist in that language.

+Rep when I can, though with 5.0 this achievement will more than likely become account-wide. This is still a nice way for all your toons to get the achievement with the current system.

Oh, his name is Peddlefeet? I will edit this to avoid confusion. Thank you for your advise, I didn't know this.

I just found it interesting that in German it is called Pido, usually names don't change in language (Unless, as I said, the letters don't exist in another language, or if it is something like Japanese turning into English where there is no physical way to make the translation understandable/pronounceable).
The item name/achievement translate the same; I knew exactly what you were talking about, and I'm sure everyone else did/does as well. No worries on confusion is all I mean to say. :P

    Still works on EU-DE.
Have tried this, because not all my charakters have the achievement. Maybe you should try it again.

Well most names containing any kind of wordplay are changed because they simply wouldn't make any sense if they were just translated. Peddlefeet would sound awkward too, so they renamed him to: Q. Pido which comes from Cupido (another name for Amor, latin god of love) and makes a lot more sense over here...

No the non-english clients change nearly everything; even citynames like in german if (eisenschmiede), tb (donnerfels) and sw (sturmwind) - which led to lots of flames in the official forums. But lots of players here simply play with the english client.
