Keep Gold in a chest for yourself

I was just running the LFR and decided to loot the chest and keep it open cause I remember it pissed our raid leader off. All the gold stayed in the chest and the other players went on. Unfortunately I got teleported up and was unable to grab the gold. Later on a wipe recovery two other people were up there with me and it split the roughly 400g gold between us. Unfortunately I only have this screenshot that doesn't really show it but I'll try to do it again on Spine and/or Madness.



TL;DR - Loot chest, hold it open, wait for people to be gone (i.e. through portal on to ship or out of raid after Madness), loot all 400g to yourself.

I'm going to try and record it because that would show it much better than pictures.

Well my friend was being a funny dick and votekicked me when it was just us so I wasn't able to get the other pic but this works.

wouldnt really call this an exploit, i do it all the time though. works best on deathwing as people leave the raid http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...goldchests.jpg they dont always leave though which kind of sucks

Not an exploit, but it's a good idea and as somebody above me said this should work the best on Hagara and Madness of Deathwing, my advice is to use this as soon as the loot is distributed as people get pissed if you don't let them see the chest and vote to kick you(but it can't be done during loot rolls)

Also it was posted on mmo a lot longer ago then yesterday, I first saw it at least two weeks ago.
