despite the reputation being fixed, can't we just do this anyway, and get the 550 reputation then reset, it might take longer, but at least you can theoretically do it in a lockout: (hated > exalted).

There is no thing as "normal rep" for this boss since it never gave any kind of rep and it does now.
So theoretically this could still be an exploit.
