Double enchants on weapons requiring Crystallized Firestones

So I was on MMO champ while someone named *Helheim* posted about an exploit about enchants either sticking to the upgraded weapons or somehow retaining it after sellback while being able to slap another one on if you pop a stat + proc enchant on it. Not currently sitting on a firestone myself, anyone care to test? +5 rep to whomever can replicate it!

Not sure if mods edited his posts to hide it. I just googled it, its up to you to look at it :P

From what I read, the guy had a weapon with an proc enchant on it. He upgraded it to the heroic version, put a stat enchant on it. But it would still proc the RNG enchant plus, it has a stat.

I might have been a bit vague on the specifics, but as he was reluctant to share it, I can't explain it much better than ''the item doesn't retain both enchants when viewed via mouse over. proc still appears.'' as he so eloquently puts it.

I don't see how this would work, seeings as it destroys the other item and replaces it with a new item. It's the exact same thing as upgrading a chest to a heroic chest. It doesn't logically make sense for this to work, so without proof, I'm guessing this doesn't.

Unfortunately I cannot document this. However, I upgraded my dagger using a firestone, and there was no enchant on the dagger once it was upgraded.

And the post on MMO makes my head hurt. I think I lost braincells reading it. >.<

While the thread on MMO-C did suck to read. The OP there said there is only one enchant on the tooltip, but he put different enchants on each time, so he saw them proc seperately. (Actually he said it was a static chant + pro chant) so if you had the proc chant first, then upgraded, then rechanted a static, it would be a clear test if it worked if you saw the proc buff show up.

My class doesn't have a weapon to upgrade via Crystallized Firestones, so tried to replicate this using the t1 to t2 pvp weapon as it's a similar upgrade system. Spent some conquest points and gold and was not able to get it to work. Enchants I tried were mongoose on t1 MH fist and +26 agi on the t2 version.

You may want to proof read your attempt to trash talk someone trying to bring new content to this community before posting, as "you suck at english", bro.
