Which buff? The only haste buff I see is Frenzy and that's a 2nd tier hunter talent in the BM tree.

If this guy ever spawns, I'm going to try taming him while he's Frenzy'd. It's possible the auto-level while buffed with Frenzy mimics the old level while a stabled pet has BW and it's gets a week/month/whatever long duration bug.

The Frenzy effect that the pet has probably will not show up in WoL because it only tracks buffs that are gained or lost during combat.

Don't be so quick to +rep. The Frenzy buff on the pet is a temporary duration buff, and (to my knowledge) buffs that are temporary aren't kept after exploit taming. There is only one other parse like that on WoL, and it's the same kind of thing. Both hunters are BM in extremely good gear, and both chose to tame a Silithid (with priests in the raid for both, so it's not for the stam buff).

Pet base attack speed is 2 seconds, and can be modified by the Hunter's gear. Yanjingbeer has 15% haste, so his pet's attack speed after haste is 1.74. After Frenzy (talents) it is 1.34. After Frenzy (supposed mob ability) it is .84. Factor in additional haste procs from trinkets (25.47%) and it's .67. Not sure if pets get 10% raid haste buff, but if they do... .61. This is still no where near the .35 to .55 range I'm seeing in the log the OP linked. Can't really think of anything I'm missing, either.

Pretty sure you cannot read logs properly. The pet did 27.8k dps.

Frenzy is a BM talent, and it is normal that it stacks up to 5. However it stacking up 74 times is not normally at all.

It didn't stack to 74 stacks. It was applied 74 times during the fight. And was up for 90% of the fight...

But thats a moot point. Since the pet did more DPS than it should have.

That is not how frenzy works. It applies 5 times, and that's it. Compare it to the other hunter's pet who only gets 5 stacks the whole fight and is applied only 5 times. That disputes what you have written.

I looked at my own pet logs for recent fights and it is the same. Frenzy is applied 5 times and it only has 5 stacks for the whole duration of the fight. This guy had 74 stacks.

You've just miss one thing, With BM spec when Pet's frenzy stacks to 5 you use Focus Fire to reset stacks et gain 15% haste on your shots, so it's logic BM Hunter's stacks 74 frenzy.
The bug here is the ability frenzy of the mob itself (Frenzy - Spell - World of Warcraft) when it's tame i guess.
