Raise Ally debuff on another target

Hey guys,

Was doing a ZA run yesterday with a PuG and I found out that it's possible to plant your Raise Ally debuff on another target.

1. Have some dork die during the fight.
2. Target the target whom you want the debuff on.
3. Click Raise Ally.
4. Click on raid frames on the dead dork.
5. The debuff should be on the boss and not your recently rezzed raid member.

Anyways, I can't really think of a practical use for raids since I haven't done shit since WotLK, hopefully some clever individual can figure out some super awesome use for this glitch.

Pretty useless imo. Our DK was doing this unintentionally on rag fight and the trash before it

It is something I havent seen here before and I believe it has not been posted before. (Correct me if im wrong) It's only usable though if there's anpother DK in the group.

So is "be as X shapeshift while mounted", yet that is considered an exploit and this isnt?

My point isnt that this is not an exploit - it is. My point is that this has been known and posted on other sites long before OP posted it here.

The debuff is supposed to prevent multiple battle-rezes in quick succession. This trick might allow you to circumvent that for a group with multiple brezes. Still, really only helpful if you have someone who dies a lot, and only in that sort of group composition.

At least I know why it sometimes adds the debuff, and sometimes doesn't. I had been wondering.

well, since there is a maximum amount of battle rezzes per boss fight (one in 10-Man), this is useless, unless it is bypassing this limit... I'm not sure, but the druide br doesn't place any debuffs, but the rez is counted towards it. I don't believe this trick will bypass the limit. Anyway, I'll test it.

This does NOT bypass the limit. ANd debuff only serves a vanity purpose - if a person is debuffed after getting ressed, he can still die and get ressed again, assuming you have resses available.

The only purpose it has is to make it more "roleplay-feely" by being raised by a death knight.

And please, for love of god, stop replying to this thread. READ what has been said above - this has been posted on wowhead AGES ago.
