So you don´t need the Quest to do this achievment dunno if it´s working as intended^^

1. Go where the Bosses are standing
2. Wait 4 someone who´s doing the quest
3. kill mob with him and do not get hit by their special Attack
4. ???
5. Profit

Well I would disagree here only because practically every other achievement like this you need to be in the tagging party to get any credit at all... the fact that you even just need to be near the guy is pretty cool. Not a hardcore exploit, but cool nonetheless. +rep from me

Looks like they hotfixed it already. I was in the area like 4 or 5 times when the Ancient firelord was killed, never got hit by the fire...and no credit.

Try tagging the mob before the person doing the quest, works for me.

Only seems to work if you can tag it first, and even then i've had it not work still.

You can also just let the npc's get the mob down to like 50k while you chill at max range then finish it and get achievement.

Just attempted this 3 times never getting hit. Last time I hit him as fast as I could to get a "tag" on the achieve, but still didn't count. Was the firelord.

ok, finally got it on the 5th attempt. Maybe the 3rd time I didn't actually hit him soon enough? I don't know, but this still works (I didn't have the quest and got credit) Keep trying!

After a lot of attempts i found a 100% way to have it work.

wait near boss for someone to come and start event.
Important: TAG the mob. I only got the credit when i had tagged the mob.
Once mob is tagged, run as far away as you can while being in the targeting range.
AFK, ???, Profit.

If you look a few posts up I already said try tagging it.
But the method might come in handy although I just avoid the abilities as normal.
