Hey there, the exploit is pretty simple.
3 Piece Tier 2 Hunter (Dragonslayer) gives +20% AP with aspect of the hawk. So what you do is...
1.) Put on Aspect of the Hawk
2.) Put on 3 pieces tier 2
3.) Put on normal gear (don't have to keep 3 pieces of T2 on)
4.) Enjoy +20% AP with normal cata gear on.

I'm pretty sure this got hotfixed after it got brought up on the WoW Insider Podcast show, since one of the hosts decided to out his wife for using it.
