Requeue for Heroics while on Dungeon Cooldown

As a tank I like to fish for 'in progress' dungeons due to the amount of fail groups. Unfortunately I kept getting fresh dungeons today or groups on the first boss.

If I didn't like it, I just afk'd somewhere in the dungeon and they would all leave because they couldn't vote kick. Maybe they used them up or something. I read some of the chat and it was hilarious.

Anyway the exploit is simple.

- Wait until everyone drops group.
- Do NOT hit the button to find more people after everyone dropped.
- Exit the instance.
- Open up the dungeon finder window and hit 'hide'
- Requeue as your role.
- You will get the message 'you cannot join while on a dungeon cooldown' but it will still put you in queue.

Confirmed on 3 characters, 2 US servers. Both healer and tank roles. I know it worked because I had between 6-15 minute dungeon cooldowns and I got instant queues due to my role doing this.

This has nothing to do with the Deserter Buff and does not affect votekicks.

Sometimes people wouldn't leave. Wait until they go to town and you can kick them regardless and take advantage of this.

Hmm could be useful but the fact that you have to wait for everyone to leave suck in my opinion, I'll try it out and if I like it rep.

This works only if the members of the group actually leave. Once we simply outsat the kick-cd and got rid of the tank, who tried to pull the same stunt on us. I can always watch youtube to make the wait time feel like a breeze. =)

Don't know about you but most groups start chat right when you zone in... "TANK GO" "GO TANK" "wow go plz" "go or get kick" "wow his gear sux" etc.

Less than 1-2 minutes wait before they can't kick me and all leave. If you feel it's long then yes go watch a video for 20 seconds.

That's nice. I am not here to make friends with randoms from another server. Most of the cross realm players you meet are **** talkers anyway.

Actually, you can continue same dungeon if everyone leaves group. It's even in patch notes.

The exploit is useful for people who...

- get a dungeon they don't want.
- get a group filled with bad players they don't want.
- get a fresh dungeon instead of an in progress dungeon.
