Bloodlord Mandokir repairs your gear for you!

Bloodlord Mandokir - the second boss in ZG, uses a certain ability called Decapitate, killing the targeted person instantly.

To not upset the players that get killed by this, you don't lose durability when killed by him.

Matched with the guild perk, Reinforce, you actually gain durability from this encounter! Here's how it works:

The Reinforce perk does not take away 20% of the durability lost, it just gives you back 2% of your total durability for every time you die. But even when you're not losing durability, you're still getting that 2% durability back every time you die.

It's not much, but it helps

EDIT: Dying to Devastating Slam also increases your durability. Screenshots for proof at this post http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...ml#post2082844

and... what ? shall we go there and make repairs after some wipes on raid ? doesnt seem to be helpful. Dont think it's bug, blizzard probably know about this but this is useless for players.

    Think before you speak.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of this. It's handy if you're constantly the one who gets decapitated over and over, saves repairing at the end of the instance.

ok, he posted smthn - very good, but it's not helpful imo, when 80% ppl on this forum use bots and dont really care about repair bills, we wont get anything special from that - but yes ! You're right, it's nice he posted that. And speaking like: He's one step above you, lol is it competition ? Please Dude....

"when 80% ppl on this forum use bots and dont really care about repair bills" wow...

Neat little trick, didn't even know that the perk worked that way.

Regardless of what other people think, this is an exploit and was probably not intended. Nice find. +Repx2

I found this interesting even though I've never even touched these heroics.

So if I am at, say 45/100, I just let mandokir kill me over and over with his decapitate, and it repairs 2% of 100 for 20 points of durability back? Or did I misunderstand? Math is not quite my forte.

It's cool to know, and it's a bug, but is there actually a way to exploit this(i.e. abuse for benefit)? The ability kills random player, and 2% repair is worth 2-3g, which you will get whether you know it or not(unless you're fully repaired already).

I don't believe so, unless there's a way to reset the fight.

    2% of 100 = 20? rofl...no no, 2% is 2 out of 100

This isn't true. As a paladin, and a healer, I tend to bubble when he goes for me to keep him from keeping me from healing. Now I won't be as prone. I've seen other competent players use abilities like mage iceblock to stop from dying too...

you can reset by having someone stand outside and if he goes for the person...
