An Additional Non-Combat Companion (PERMANENT) (ON-USE)

Sup all, new here. Well let me get started on getting you that permanent companion which happens to be an eagle.

So in the zone Northern Barrens, there is a quest in the Crossroads similar to the quest that gives you Dartol's Rod of Transformation - which turns you into a furbolg for 3 minutes on use. This quest is called A Growing Problem. The quest gives you an item Tonga's Totem which summons a brown eagle called Tonga's Eyes. This can be used anywhere just like the Rod of Transformation mentioned above. Oh and this quest is part of a 3-quest chain (The Forgotten Pools, A Growing Problem, The Stagnant Oasis). The NPC's name is Tonga Runetotem.


Note that if you turn in the quest, the item and therefore the companion will disappear.


In other words:

1. Go to Northern Barrens with a Hordecharacter that's level 13+
2. Go to the Crossroads
3. Talk to Tonga's Runetotem and get the quest, "The Forgotten Pools"
4. Complete the quest (Will take you less than 5 minutes on foot, less than a minute on a mount)
5. Get the quest "A Growing Problem"

Enjoy your two companions!

This "Pet" is only available to Horde players as you will not be able to accept the quest if you are Alliance.
