You may have tested this but the thing you don't understand is HGWT can not summon you into an instance anymore. So you would need to run through the instance to get to the boss. Warlock stone could work but you would have maybe 10 seconds left on this buff before pulling. Completely not worth the effort.

It's an exploit regardless. The point is not - whether or not it would be ethical to use in a raid, but rather to show this exploit to people, and have them decide on whether or not they want to go through the hassle of summoning and getting some time off of the buff. I know (and there are other people that have had this happen) that I would have LOVED this buff on certain bosses, whether it has a soft enrage or hard enrage timer; having that little more 30-45sec of damage output would prevent a wipe when the boss enrages and wipes the raid with 1% left.

Most of these 2 minute buff exploits are considered useless as the time you actually get to use them makes them pointless to go through all of that effort to get them. Unless its a buff you can spellsteal that drains like 2% of the boss's hp every hit, then I won't be much of a fan to these kinds of exploits.

Getting 1-2 people into an instance with a huge buff is worth it, have you never wiped at like 1-5% before?

Getting EVERYONE in with the buff is not feasible, but boosting 2 peoples DPS by a few thousand over the course of 8 minutes is a boost that some guilds could use to get that extra edge on a certain fight.
