Kiting Ol' Gummers

I'm unsure if kiting belongs in this category.

But if you go to Ol' Gummers in Redridge Ol'Gummers

Now how to kite him is an odd way as it's purely pull aggro.

1. Mount a flying mount
2. Fly over Lake Everstill's surface near to Ol' Gummers
3. Cause Ol' Gummers to attack you
4. Fly upwards slowly (too fast and you lose aggro)
5. Observe that Ol' Gummers will lift entirely out of the water as high as you fly
6. Move around slowly
7. Observe that Ol' Gummers will chase

The results from this can lead to kiting him around as long as you stick to slow bursts of speed. Don't go too fast, but fun and ensure if you kite him to places for fun, the video below is what I did today.

I sped up the video a bit due to taking about 15mins to get to Goldshire from Lakeshire.

It's my vid, it's a quick whip up of mine. Nothing too fancy.

tried two minutes ago. did take very small steps but he dropped aggro at a certain point. Every retry had the same results. But i found, it worked better the higher i kited him. But i alway lost aggro at the edge of the lake.

Get about tree height, the tree across the bridge then ever so slowly move. Allow him to hit you about once or twice. Make sure it's a damage hit, and not a dodge, parry, block or miss.

I had fun kiting him to Bastion of Twilight. Got some weird looks.

Also if he resets halfway through he casualy "swims" back. Also turns heads if you manage to make him do this through Stormwind. He goes through walls so with some aiming you should be able to make him cross a busy square and evading

just did this, hilarity over goldshire, but the SW guard shot him down as I went over the gate. +rep

got him too twlight highlands and lost aggro was gonna attempt too get him to uc but take too long
