Water Elemental's Freeze cooldown reset (Arena Only)

I use this for a long time now. But didnt see any thread about it.
    1. Use Water Elemental's Freeze.
    2. Abandon your pet (/run PetAbandon() macro)
    3. Summon new elemental. (Summon Water Elemental cant be on CD)
    - You can use freeze one more time.
This is good for getting 4 fof procs or even six if used with a cold snap. In a short amount of time.
    ARENA ONLY.

Doesn't matter where he got it from. It's common sense for any Frost Mage and not an exploit. You have been able to do this ever since they introduced the permanent water ele glyph. If it wasn't intended, they would have fixed it by now.

ehhhhh, wrong. This is indeed an exploit, of course you're not meant to be able to desummon your pet and have infinite shatters...
I've seen it before, not sure where though.

    Thanks for contributing + rep

it's hardly infinite as this puts the pet on CD when it's resummoned.

    common sense

Pet abilities aren't supposed to reset their CDs when they're resummoned. This is an exploit, yes.

nice to know.. This is an exploit. If you right click your pet and removes it, and then summon a new one, pet nova is still on CD.. So this is great thanks +rep

By this same logic then a DK ghoul resummon to have a 6 second stun is an exploit too then, eh!?

Nope. Neither is this. It's a valid strategy in a PvP environment, but since the pet is on a cooldown to summon Blizzard let you reset their cooldowns.

The reason this is NOT OP is because anyone can just blow defensive cooldowns when they see it coming and avoid nearly all the damage, then just burst your pet down. Now your left without a pet and your damage has gone way down since you can't resummon it for a couple minutes.

Hunter/warlock pets are a completely different story.
