Potion of Illusion in Druid forms

Usually, you aren't able to use shapeshifting consumables in a Druid shapeshift form, but I found a way. You need Potion of Illusion.

1. First use a potion, then shapeshift into any of the druid forms.
2. Next, click the buff off (the potion of illusion buff).
3. Use another potion, and shapeshift into something else. You can cast as a priest in bear form, Dps like a warrior in Moonkin form.

For everytime you want to shift into someone knew, just repeat step 3. Each time you log in or change zones you need to repeat steps 1-3.

Not working for me. When I use a potion then shapeshift, it automatically removes the potion buff. Even tried using a potion right after that and shifting into a diff form but wouldnt work.

Are you shapeshifting into a druid form, or into another shapeshift like Savory Deviate Delight, or Iron Boot Flask?

A druid form. It says in step 1 to use potion then shapeshift into a druid form. That autoremoves the illusion buff. I'll try again using savory after that.

Are you sure the buff was removed? If you do it correctly you will shapeshift and it will give you the appearance of whatever form you went into. Then after you remove the buff and add it again, it will work.

I could not get this to work.

Started as tauren. Used Potion of Illusion. Shifted into Moonkin..... and the 'buff' from the potion is automatically removed.

You can't go into a random form, it must be a copy from another player on both the initial transform, and the second one.

I think you are trying to tell us that anyone can be a bear and cast right? - not that druids can be a bear while really being a cat. - at least it doesn't work.

You need a druid friend to shapeshift around - and you can just swap into bear once then copy it and cast, not really a bug i think

Actually no, he just explained it kinda weird. Use a deviate fish instead of a potion at first. Took me a bit to get the actual steps down right, but I was definitely in bearform doing my attacks while looking like a female goblin.

No, by saying you can be in any druid form and perform the actions as if you were any other character, it is exactly what I mean.

Copy someone else with the potion, shift into form, remove the buff, re-apply the buff. It works everytime. You only need to re-apply the buff, when it falls off. You can only do it once per combat.
