Throne of Tides mount bug - Immortal party edition

Hopefully il test this later today (if my druid arena partner comes online), can you tell me how exactly the passenger bug could be brought into an arena before? Did you manage doing using the bug when it happens outside of deadmines? Does that bug still work?
Any answers to this would be helpfull i guess

It was my arena mate who brought it into the arena by total randomness. I queued up for the arena just after he finished hc deadmines. He told me he did not mount up afterwards (inbetween finishing deadmines and entering arena), try it
