Death Strike on Ozumat

Hey, I searched for 'Ozumat' and 'Death Strike', don't think this is a repost.

It's not much of an exploit, more of a tip really because Blizzard will not ban you for it.. it's not really how the fight was intended but it's clever use of game mechanics.

So basically, if your group is having trouble with the Ozumat encounter in Throne of the Tides, a death knight of any spec is capable of soloing phase 2 of it with the use of Death Strike in order to heal yourself. (25% of the damage you deal, and you're hitting for 200k - 400k, our healer dc'd and everyone died just before phase 2 so I ended up finding it out that way as frost spec).

This can obviously be done in any case where you're hitting for more than usual, blood dks tanking this encounter have most probably experienced it themselves but if you're frost/unholy and your group has trouble with this it's a nice addition.

Side note:
The HP regen of blood is so OP at the moment, it's also possible to solo most bosses of TBC raids (3 bosses in SSC are a bit of trouble, + reliquary of souls in BT.. I'd like to see someone solo that, solo'd every other boss pre-sunwell). It's also possible to solo naxx (though I'm yet to solo patchwerk), and I've also been capable of soloing ICC trash.

As long as you maintain soul link this also goes for drain life on locks.

This is more a guide than an exploit. Should you repost this in guides, you can include Rogues and Shadow Priests.

Recuperate will also tick for almost 100k to 200k (depending on spec) every 3 seconds, which lets you stay topped off until about 80-90 stacks or so, then a Cloak of Shadows will knock them off and start the stacking over again.

With the extra damage and healing. Vampiric Embrace will pretty much keep the party topped off with minimal effort to the healer.

As fury warr you have bloodthirst, and maybe you have the talent blood craze too that will give you alot of healing, as tank warr blood craze was able to keep me topped off

false. It's 25% of the damage you've taken over the last 5 seconds, not 25% of the damage you deal.

Does any of this really matter, the hard part is P2 and the part your talking about is P3. Its incredibly easy and even as a feral druid myself, i could probably get close to taking it down.
