Savage Leather (New Method)

Pretty simple really. At the start of the instance Lost City of Tol'vir, to the left and right of the immediate entrance there are packs of tigers. These tigers can be looted and skinned in normal mode for savage leather and average 20 savage leather a run. The mobs don't hit hard at all we run it with tank + 4 dps to farm it. Afterwards run out reset and repeat. 5 times per hour for 100 savage leather an hour.

Meh, not really an exploit, belongs in guides. Farming leather off of these guys was also mentioned in a previous post about them before their xp value got 'fixed'.

You run it with 1 tank and 4 dps...? You can solo as most classes...

And this topic is a repost, the other one even had a little movie in it where you could see the guy kill the tigers. There is an elite there with every pack aswell that is linked to the tigers, so cc is needed if you solo the tigers, wich you easily can.

As a Bear I solo the elite too (only drops 1 gold and a bit though).
Bad thing is that you reach the instance per hour cap soon.

Pretty good place to go 5 times an hour can solo this as boomy, root elite, aoe and profit

Pretty easy as a Hunter, especially as a Beastmaster, I just send in my lovely tanking pet and let him take all the damage, whilst I heal him up with Mend Pet and burn the Elite down (the tigers eventually die due to damage they take when their master takes damage.). It's a wonderful place to farm for Savage Leather, since every tiger drops 2 at a bare minimum. Sometimes you even get 4x Savage Leather from just 1 single tiger.

Used those tigers to level my LW and buy all the patterns. Still looking for a way around the instance per hour cap....
