Easy 425 Leatherworking

something i came across today while leveling my leatherworking 5 savage leatherscraps can be turned into 1 savage leather around 445 doing it becomes grey in ur proffesions tab, but if you use the /use on the savage leather scraps by right clicking them in your bags you continue to get skill ups in leatherworking.

I can confirm this, but it isn't a guaranteed point. I got 25pts from 200ish scraps.

you can skill up from 445 (that's when it turns grey) to 450, after 450 it doesnt give points anymore.

I believe the thread title should say 525, not 425.

No, it only works till 425 or something. But not an exploit, iirc it is the same with wotlk leather.

yeah, it just takes a freaking long ass time to do so. Always used to be that way.

It doesn't become gray at 445.

You can use this to skill up until 450 leatherworking, no higher. Whoever said you can get 525 is wrong. It is gray at 450.

Also you can actually train this savage leather scraps ability.

Ok so let me get this straight, if I have 409 leatherworking on my hunter, I can get 409-425 by simply having 80 scraps?
