Avoid huge damage with Corrupted Egg Shell

The Corrupted Egg Shell (Corrupted Egg Shell - Item - World of Warcraft) absorbs more damage than the tooltip says. I noticed it during the bossfight of Nefarian. He casts a ~100k dmg aoe every 10% but if you use the Corrupted Egg Shell right before the aoe comes you will get no damage at all. Make sure the shield doesn't get consumed before. I didn't tested it with other things but it may also work.


1. wait for the aoe Announcement of Nefarian (or other dmg spells)
2. use the Corrupted Egg Shell
3. ????
4. Profit

confirmed on wowhead... lol

"This trinket is broken right now and will absorb one hit regardless of the damage.it does. tested with a 500k hit from a Whale Shark.

Not sure if the normal version is bugged as well."
