Well this is wrong. You can get it even if you die! But i'm not sure about the killing blow.

I ended my game 3-0 as alliance, died 4 times, and had 18 killing blows, and i still got the achievement!

GOGOGO EXPLOIT before its fixed!

(Or test and tell me if it works for you)

EDIT: BTW I forgot to say that all the people near me got the same achievement, and i can gaurentee that almost all of them died during the battleground.

It works, I got it without even knowing of the achievement. Not sure about my stats but I'm sure that I died several times.
