Now I'm pretty damn sure blizz scans this forum a few times a day, I often find great posts with positive replies only to find a few hours after that they are hotfixed and this seems to have been really ramped up post 4.0.1. This one was smashed to smithereens quite quickly for sure. I feel that I might as well have submitted a bug report to blizz about this! On the other hand, as an ex-"Lazy Leecher" who is looking for the occasional diamond in the rough that might give back to this community and perhaps earn my way into the coveted Elite section I am at a loss of what to do!

It appears the whole town isn't PVP flagged and you cannot attack the NPC's, and they won't attack you.

I'm 99% sure that even if shit gets moved to elite, blizz surveys this site, they probably have a donor account to check the elite section also, so no point in putting shit in elite..

Normal members (ALL) can post in the elite section under the news category. they can view their own created thread beyond that nothing else.

Elite section can only be viewed by those with 325+rep .. you are confusing (donator+)elite guides/exploits for purple elite.
Posting GOOD exploits in the (purple) elite section will generally be "better for your rep" as 1) it lasts longer, 2) more people with bigger power will see it and may commend you.

here's how gold duping works. Kill monsters/finish quests get gold. Loot monsters/choose quest rewards, sell them on the AH get gold. Gold Duped!
