Permanent retribution aura.

As some of you may or may not know, there is a new quest chain in Eastern Plaguelands that starts at the very beginning of the zone when you talk to Fiona. You do a couple of quests and you take her caravan to the next stop. This repeats itself in a similar fashion throughout Eastern Plaguelands. Once you arrive at Light's Hope Chapel you have Taraenar Sunstrike Gidwin Goldbraids join you as companions for a short time. One of them, though I'm not sure which, has retribution aura.

I didn't take note of it until a few days later when I still had the buff in searing gorge. While I do not recall how I triggered this, I do know that I did not turn in the quests that had them join you. I left the zone right away because the quests were to low level for me. I believed I used my hearthstone. A interesting fact to note is that when you join a party everyone in your vicinity gets the arua. It acts as if you are the one giving it off and death does not remove it. I'll try to replicate this effect on another character later today. Perhaps someone here has had this happen to them and can verify it.

I caught this in the official Bug Report forums before a GM edited out some of the details, there were 2 other people in the thread saying it happened to them also. The damage counts as your own and is permanent. The thing is, it's a trigger. Its a spell that makes the server make your character cast the spell. Hard to explain, but its a forcecast, a script the server makes your character run and the end result is that you have actually cast a spell you do not know. Blizzard uses this at times.

You got to here pretty quickly, I'm sure alot of people will use this while leveling. First post, first contribution, I think I can top things off with a first +rep too. =D

A quick note to anyone who may be using this. Do not respec or activate your secondary spec. I believe it removes the buff.
