I was there and killed all rare spawns and farmed for like 2 hours. Made 10k in 2 hours there and when I hearthed to dal everyone was invisible, no NPCs, mailboxes, zeppelins. I called blizzard because I couldn't find a fix for this, GM logged on account and took him 45 minutes of working to fix it. They asked if I was exploring the "new land" and I said no and made up some fake stuff. I had cataclysm items in my bags and they finally fixed it for me but never banned me and I don't know if they noticed the items. I have got a quest in mount hyjal. Within 12 hours they fixed it so no one can go to mount hyjal anymore.

This happened also to me when i had my hs there. Last thing u want to do is contact a gm for other ppl that this also happen just join bg and /afk out.

I had this bug happen nine months ago doing dailies up in Icecrown. No NPCs. Hearthing wouldn't fix it.

As it was explained to me, glitches with phasing can corrupt your character. In this case, I'm guessing that the new areas are supposed to be phased somehow and that the tech isn't setup yet, so you wound up "attuned" to an empty phase like I did.

The GM I dealt with them was very cool. Talked about the Time Lost Protodrake and after I joked it was impossible, he changed my flightpath taxi display into a Time Lost Proto.

It's funny but I've always found that more complicated issues tend to get GMs assigned to my case who are more likely to joke around, chat, listen to suggestions, and play pranks on me. I signed an idea release form with one of them rather than the usual "go to the suggestions forum" spiel.

My guess is that a complicated issue gets your case escalated to someone with some clout/decision making power in the company, who is given more leeway to mess around and take player input seriously.

That bugged happened to me also, I joined a battleground and it fixed it.

That sounds all nice m8 but it's a known issue to them as a lot ppl complained about it on the forum who entered the zone.

Just giving them reason lucky you got out allright. But just pointing out to be carefully when u using an exploit to get somewhere or get something done and ends up wrong to contact a gm about it to help you out. Enough resources on this site to fix it your self
