    Not to beat a dead horse but Blues stated that rested XP will be reset. Here is a WoW Insider article regarding this
    Valnoth - Re: On rested exp issue again.
    Rested experience will be reset at launch. You will start at 0 rested
    No rested XP for level 80 characters at Cataclysm launch

    Yep. As like as TwidgetUSN already posted...
    Rested will be set to 0, as soon as the server goes online with Cataclysm.
    Same has been on Beta.
