Since you can no longer mind control people through No man's land if you still want to explore Cata zones you can do so with the guild bank lag macro shown here. Simply go to the nearest guild bank, lag yourself alot and explore the desired zone. You will not see any NPCs while you are lagging, but you will get exploration credit for where ever you went while lagging. Don't fall too much if you plan on being alive once you stop lagging. I managed to explore all of Hyjal with this method and even pick up a flight path with some fast clicking at the spot where the flight master would spawn once i had stopped lagging.
