Use Flying Broom any season of the year

So the search seems to be broken atm, but the "autosearch" when you create a topicname gave me nothing and I didn't really want to wait with posting seeing as Hallow's End is soon to be over.

You all know the mount that drops from Loot-Filled Pumpkin is instant cast (and max flightspeed) and it does only last for 14 days. However if you loot your Pumpkin without autoloot you can check if its there - and if it is, leave it in until you want to use it. It does not lose its duration from from within the pumpkin, so you can bring it out mid spring and fly around on a broom! I myself am saving mine for cataclysm, extra fast mounting for leveling, ganking and getting away from beeing ganked!

I have the benefit of this tactic as a Druid though.

how do you intend to level and gank and shizzle using that mount when it can only be used in outland and northrend, correct me if i'm wrong but the leveling will be done in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms...
i guess they could change the item
Are blizzard even letting us fly in The old continents as soon as cata comes out or will we have to wait for 'hot weather flying' at 85 or something? lol

In beta you can purchase Azeroth flight training for like 200+ gold which would answer your question, yes we will be able to fly right away once cata hits.
BUT!... as the broom says "Northrend and Outlands ONLY" and most of, if not ALL new questing will be done in Eastern and Kalimdor so might not be possible to use this once cata hits

Don't the boxes randomly generate the loot again after an installment of a major patch?

If there was more than 1 thing in the loot bag, just removing 1 thing out of it will keep it from refreshing.

Pretty sure this is how it works because on 1 toon I had 2 bags that I looted other stuff out but left a duplicate mask in, and over 3 days those bags continued to ONLY hold those duplicate masks. On several others toons that I saved bags on their contents reset every day.

So provided you can loot 1 thing out of the bag and leave the broom in there, it should work.
