What do you mean "working"? I've got a speed hack updated for 4.0.1.

But it's not too great in combination with the method, I just use minor speed increase. The element 115 has a respawn timer of ~2 minutes.
I tune the speed so one loop takes 1 minute, works great though.

Just do some math and compare,sure it depends on your server but I made the experience that im faster with just doing this quest. As I said battlegrounds can be lost, this is constant honor you gain.
I made 2600 honor playing 2 days without joining battlegrounds. Actually its a question of what you like more However,it works well.

I agree, after patch hit I'm able to win 1/20 bgs, and all of them ends up with hordes farming out GY and not capping the last flag in WSG e.g.
This method gives a steady and more reliable income of honor points. I like it.

Moreover, I just noticed some disturbing bugs inside bgs.For example getting disconnected while taking the wsg flag and so on. Just wanted to contribute this method

I'm getting 30 min BG ques. So this is much more economical. When you consider the fact that if you gank someone, you get 3 honor. So 6 honor every minute or so is great!

Using a friend with a RAF rocket DOES work!!!

You can strip this down to a far quicker run with no speed penalty at all. My main is a paladin to 310 raf rocket + crusader aura makes for seriously good honour.

As an added note, this is easiest on a druid. Since you can instantly shift after turning in quest, makes it that much quicker.

Also, tip, you can use aquatic form to go 50% faster in water. So after you pick up item, jump in water and swim near to quest turn in, jump out the water, shift into flight form and turn it in. THis way, it only takes a minute to do it. So you can get ~360 honor per min then.

Ps: i think you might need the minor glyph for the 50% speed to work.

No, with the minor glyph sealion form goes 100%.

Not really an exploit, this quest gave venture coins pre-patch and everything that gave venture coins now give honor points. And i think if you are willing to mindlessly farm this for a maximum of 360 honor/hour blizz is completely fine with that. Honestly I'd rather have fun 2 shotting, getting 2 shot in BG's and get 180ish honor per hour than suffer through this. Just my opinion.

This is a bit far fetched, but in theory couldn't you have a warlock friend + another constantly summon you back to the turn-in? Then you would only be limited by the respawn time of the item.

Yeah SlapChop . But I mean, It's a waste of time for your friends. Standing still summoning ONE friend, as that one friend can get his honor faster... You need some really good friends to do this.

Also as fishy_ mentioned, a bot would be extraordinary for this.
