Just thought I'd post a little trick that I noticed whilst on the Gunship Battle in ICC. I did do some searches but couldn't find anything.
As I play Alliance I will can only talk about Saurfang but I *assume* that Bronzebeard is the same for the horde.
High Overlord Saurfang has a stacking buff when he is being tanked -
"Battle Fury — Increases all damage done by 5%. Instant. 20 sec duration. +7% in 25-player mode."
To avoid this buff and to allow for slightly easier tanking on the enemies ship you use 3 tanks (2 for the enemies ship, 1 for your own ship). If you follow the steps below the 2 tanks sent over can just stay there for the whole fight as he will only use his thrown attack and this doesn't benefit from his buff. This also allows the people who jumped over for the battle-mage/sorcerer to take down any rocketeers/axe throwers who have gained high ranks.
This is what the setup will look like when you first start the event.
When the Battle-mage/Sorcerer spawns, 2 tanks will jump to the enemy ship. Tank 1 will run/charge in and grab aggro whilst Tank 2 stays at range (generally on the edge of the ship so healers don't have to move) and taunts.
Saurfang should forget about Tank 1 who was on him initially and start to use his thrown attack on Tank 2.
Now this thrown attack does put a stacking debuff on the tanks. Tank 1 should run to position next to Tank 2 and taunt Saurfang. The tanks should taunt off each other whenever they lose their stacks. Note that the 2 tanks stay here throughout the whole fight just taunting off each other.
Hope this can be used by some!![]()
