Easy ZG Tiger Solo Farming

A while back, I used a glitch involving jumping on a stump to glitch the ZG Tiger encounter so the boss automatically jumps to tiger form in phase 2. That glitch had a low success rate and you hand to land on the stump just right. I also heard about one involving running out through the gates. This method is a modified way using elements of both to both try and easily reset. I know it's possible to do this solo and just do phase 1 normally, but it always messes up for me with an unluckily timed gouge or stun on me and they get ressed.

Keep in mind that this method takes 3 tries for it to work, as long as you pull the boss on his way back each time (which is easy). It always takes exactly 3 tries, though I'm not sure why.

Steps:
1) Clear the right side of the room and any tigers that patrol to the right.
2) Mount up (preferably without speed bonuses) and pull the boss.
3) Run out through the entrance and wait right at the door.
4) When he resets, hurry and catch up to the tigers running at you.
5) This should pull the boss and adds again. Now, go to the right and jump on the ledge to easily reset.
6) Even if they don't pull, jump on the ledge to reset and drop combat and try again.
7) The third time of pulling the boss and adds again, the adds will despawn and Thekal will transform.

If you are having trouble getting them to attack again after the gate reset, try running as soon as Thekal gets to the gate but before he resets, to account for lag.

The run out glitch I saw somewhere else (wowhead probably), but I developed the easy reset method myself, which always makes it work on the third try for some reason. I've been farming this for months and it always works on the third try.

(Note: I made the video a while ago, some of the annotations may be kinda inaccurate with the new info I've gotten, like how it ALWAYS works on the 3rd try, not just sometimes.)

I also searched for "tiger", "thekal", and "zul'gurub" before posting and saw nothing about this.

That is the stump method I mentioned in my post. It does work last time I checked (3.1), but it is not very reliable. You have to try over and over again to get it to work. Also, you have to be in just the right place on the stump for them to not be able to hit you.

My way may not be the absolute fastest, but I prefer it for its reliability and ease.

again and again - it is only when the first came to try this bug, it works on 3.2.2a and obtained the first time, if you At least 1 time it did

And as u see u don't need to kill that group on the right ( just 1 axe thrower and leave combat in some way, tree stump, vanish.... )

This is as old as the instance itself. No need to complicate it either.

Just mount up, aggro the boss, go outside, wait til it resets, then quickly trail him, hoping that the tigers who won't reset will aggro the boss and despawn his minions. If minons don't despawn, use the stump trick to reset the whole encounter.

Sometimes it works on first shot, sometimes on second, sometime on third etc.

I just jump on the wall to the right, using the pot lying on the ground to ease the jump.

Run after tigers when reset, jump back on the wall, rince repeat 3 times and HF Tigerform.

By moving left and right on the wall constantly makes the reset occur faster, btw.

Tried the method today, and it worked. No mount dropped though, I'll keep on trying until it does though

I'm sorry if it's a repost, I tried searching and found nothing at all. Also, I know there are other ways to do it, but I preferred mine because it was very reliable and always worked on the third try. The stump method wasn't very reliable for me in the past, which is why I developed my method. If the stump method has gotten more reliable, though, then that's nice and I'll try it again to see if it is easier for me.

It still is - stump is a waste of time as it can be 20+ tries, if not more just to get it to bug. Just use it during failed pulls to reset.
