True, but when proving it works involves having to post the armoury links of his and his friends' characters, it's a little difficult.

This might be a bug, but not an exploit. Are you trying to tell me Blizzard would ban someone for equipping a Sulfuron Hammer before killing a 2 expansion old boss? People didn't even get banned for a bug like the Stratholme crate gate despawn bug. Nor would they ban you for just being around this website, because then people could be getting eachother banned. Quit being a paranoid little twat.

Also as the person above me said, it's not OUR job to prove something HE posted works. Confirms are nice and all, but usually the OP has to provide some kind of proof. (Especially considering how game mechanics are not in his favor, and two people confirming it does NOT work so far.)



Edit: Come to think of it, it sounds exactly like what a kid would do. "We totally got like 20 of these , but I"m only showing you 1 of them!" or "I totally caught this 19 foot fish, but I threw him back into the water!".

I can't remember who it was, nor can I be bothered to go back and find out, but someone said that the fact that loot is decided on spawn has been proven by rollbacks/server crashes etc causing the exact same loot to drop twice.

Now, to me this seems illogical. If you kill, say, Marrowgar and he drops . Then there is a rollback and you get to kill him again(I've never had this in a raid, please clarify if this is what was meant) just because he drops again doesn't prove anything. People are saying that this guy was just lucky for the drops...the same thing applies here, surely?

Also, as stated, Rag only spawns after Majordomo summons him, so is his loot decided when you enter the instance or when he actually spawns? I mean, to me, this seems like something that Blizz would actually implement. For instance, having the Corrupted Ashbringer and going to SM cath, or having Atiesh and visiting Shade of Aran - most people know what I'm on about.

Loot is predetermined when the Boss spawns, and it is not affected in any way by what items you are currently holding or have equipped.

The only item used for a legendary pre-bc that has a 100% drop rate is the Essence of the Firelord used to make Thunderfury once you have one of the Thunderfury bindings and you have started the quest line.

apparently if u kill ragnaros with sulfuron hammer equipped the eye have a 100% chance to drop
