ya r3cor i asked you what about quest items that arent 100% drop e.g items that drop once out of 2-3 kills or so so quest item doesnt always drop but invisible instead drop is calulated by RNG which is my point based on
but anyway i guess the only way to kill this thread or give it immortality is by someone random from here trying to kill raggy with sulfuron hammer equipped and report(and prove) eye didnt drop

You havent actually proven anything.

Even if this happened (Where is the screenshots from ingame or armoury showing legendary item looted), it could still be very coincendental.

and for those who said that loot is decided upon entering the instance : ill prove you wrong with a small simple example , suppose you was shared a quest AFTER you entered the instance and this quest requires looting an item from a mob or so

No. Quest items you are not eligible to loot, isnt showed. Blizzard have stated before that loot is decided upon spawn.

Loot is generated upon creation.

As soon as you step into an instance, or a mob is created in the world, the loot that's going to drop has already been determined.

please ppl im only trying to help those who want it to get it so think before posting stuff
p.s : just to save you some heart break make sure u can equip it before u go for it cause we had a achievement whore mage who was hoping for it only to find he dont get the ach since it triggers on wield

Sure you cant make this into a new theory? If there is a mage in the raid the eye cant drop! You only need to test it 4 more times.

for you who want proof of my armory to see i got sulfuras i have np to uncover my char
however i wont state the chars of my friends for thier privacy
my char is a druid called junkoholic @ dragonblight eu
go ahead and check that i have sulfuras but that doesnt prove anything just that i got it

About the loot is decided on enter instance/mob spawn. Yes this is true but Raggy is not spawned when entering the instance but when you tell Majordomo to summon him and as OP stated he was using the hammer when killing raggy and I'm assuming he equipted it before fight then and used it the whole time and armory proves he did get it last week so there is reason to belive it could work now I'm just a lil pissed that I already did MC this week but will try next week. He's also just friendly with hydraxian so it's most likely even his first/second run he got it on. Second according to armory..

and the problem with the OP first post is, he didnt say "equip hammer, then summon ragnaros" he just said "equip then kill"

So im presuming he was already spawned, then he equiped the hammer for the fight.

Loot is determined by timestamp when you enter the dungeon and the trash spawn. Nothing you can do in the dungeon alters the preselected loot except if its heroic modes

Not that I could be bothered, but if someone got two alts to run into an instance in exactly the same time, then theoretically the loot should be identical in each instance? I suspect you don't have actual evidence that timestamp is what decides it, but it could be checked

Why should he risk his and his friends' characters just so you can have proof that this works as the OP says? The OP has done his part in posting the exploit (working until proven otherwise imo) and under other circumstances, I would ask for proof - but asking for an armoury link is just plain stupid.

If you want to prove the OP wrong, try it yourself and post the SS here. Otherwise, keep your stupid comments to yourself.


Yes, screenshots for proof would have been nice but it's clearly difficult to show something like that in a simply image - especially when multiple accounts are involved.
