Extreme DPS boost!

It appears that this has been fixed!

I'm just bringing this here, trying to contribute...

The exploit:

In Hellfire Peninsula, there is a mob named Maiden of Pain, which casts the buff Whipped Frenzy. The buff increases your attack speed by 30% for 5 minutes Whipped Frenzy - Spell - World of Warcraft

So what you do is:
1. Enslave the demon with a warlock
2. Cast buff on a physical DPS character (doesn't give cast speed)
3. Summon character with buff inside the raid and have a 5 min DPS increase
Edit: Updated with new info from invadertag who pointed out that you lose the pet when summoned inside.

Have you actually tried this? I figure if you get summoned to an instance your pet will disppear?

I found this meter which shows the buff in use on saurfang. Not my own, but I think it works.

i believe this is an repost, saw this in tbc i think. and yes the buff is stackable. if u enslave lots of them u could hit some insane haste. however its only meele so its useless for casters

Yap there's a post about it on <Snip>, you are correct. As I mentioned, I brought it here trying to contribute, and even gave my source (which actually was <Snip>, not wowhead comments. But I realized that MMOwned has blocked links to <Snip>, and therefore would not provide any links to that page)

you cant bring the pet in, but you have the warlock enslave the demon, put the buff on you outside, and then get summoned into the instance, where you have the 30% buff for 5 minutes yay.

I can confirm the buff outside. Also were able to get summened into ther raid.
