Hi there

I can't get this to work with elune stone. But I can tell you that engineers can make a explosive decoy and toss it near a boss. The decoy says "Brown Rabbit" or something like that and WILL pull the boss and has MORE range than the elune stone. Did this in ICC last night on accident...people were wondering why a vanity pet pulled the boss.

How can you not get it to work? Did you drop it ON the boss's hit box?

The good part of this exploit, is you can Leeroy without getting caught.. ever. Whereas anything thay you have to cast, or minion pulls can still get you caught and you'll be removed from the raid/guild as soon as someone checks combat logs, or in your case looks on the ground at your minion. The trinket worked, and there's an easier way where you don't have to be an engineer tho. I'll post after i test in icc tuesday.

The range is way too low to drop it near a boss hit box. People will notice you scooting up to get close to the boss too.

The only boss this doesn't work on, are the ones that engage when you enter a room and/or events.

Do you raid ICC? If so, the easiest ones are the first few bosses ESPECIALLY plague wing. The entire raid is on the inside of the door anyways. And this is a "Clever" way of leeroying, so yes you're right. If you're dumb and just inch your way closer with w, they may notice.

Update!

When you cast this, it counts as a random attack, meaning your abilities/trinkets can proc when you use this. Also, you can use this as a extended range pull, as you can cast elune stone farther than death grip, and all ranged attacks. I think it's 5-10 yards past death grip. We decided to clear ToC today instead of just doing the weekly, and i used elune stone then death gripped as the mob ran in. Worked awesome!
