You simply don't understand the usefulness here. Guilds that compete for ranking will need to put in a full 20 attempts on Lich King. Guilds that are going for him are already 11/12 HM and can kill Professor, BQL, and Sindra but clearing all three puts serious risk on losing some attempts, in some cases many. Just because you've killed a hardmode does not mean it is on farm. Being able to approach LK with all 20 attempts helps in learning the encounter, not necessarily defeating it.

This exploit isn't for 99% of you and that is also why you simply do not understand it.

Everybody who is racing for the first hardmode lich king already knows about this and doesn't consider it an exploit. Some of the guilds even talk to blizzard directly, and know that's how it is intended to work.

Some of us are actually in progression guilds.
